Who I Work With
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions / changes, sleep difficulties, and grief. I also work with adults who are looking to improve emotion regulation, communication skills, and boundary setting. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical tools for change.
How I Help
My approach is open, respectful, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I aim to help clients feel heard and understood while supporting them in strengthening coping skills, improving well-being, and moving toward a more balanced life. I was formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but take an eclectic approach to therapy. I have been trained in other evidence-based modalities and work with clients to determine which approach(es) best fit their needs. My experience includes working with individuals with severe mental illness and providing care in integrated behavioral health settings within hospitals and clinics. I strive to meet clients where they are and take a whole-person perspective when considering treatment.

About Me
I became a psychologist after growing up in a community with limited access to mental health care, which inspired my commitment to expanding services in underserved areas. Much of my work has been in community mental health, where I provided short-term therapy in Spanish to underserved communities. It has been meaningful to give back to the communities that shaped me, and I’m excited to continue supporting others through more long-term therapeutic work. I’m grateful to be part of Riva Mental Health, where I can continue growing as a clinician while serving the community. Outside of work, I enjoy tending to my plants, watching the birds that visit my garden patio, and spending time playing and cuddling with my dog.
