Therapist | Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Who I Work With

I work with children, teens, and young adults (ages 7–25), and I welcome clients of all genders. I support young people navigating anxiety, depression, big transitions, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and difficulty feeling understood by the people around them. Many of the people I work with are figuring out who they are while managing a lot at once — school or work pressure, relationships, identity, or just the everyday weight of growing up. I know that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if it’s your first time, so I try to make the space feel low-pressure from the very first session. Whatever brings you in, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little lighter and a little more like yourself.

How I Help

My approach centers on making every client feel genuinely seen — not just heard. I draw from a trauma-informed, person-centered, and humanistic foundation, meeting each client exactly where they are and moving at a pace that feels safe for them. From there, I layer in structure and skills — CBT to reshape unhelpful thought patterns, DBT for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and play and art therapy for clients who need a way to express what’s hard to put into words. Young adulthood brings its own weight — building an identity separate from family, navigating first jobs or higher education, and forming adult relationships — and I focus on helping young adult clients build lasting self-awareness and practical coping skills they can carry into every part of their life. It’s genuinely rewarding to watch a client move from feeling stuck or unsure to feeling grounded and confident in their own choices.

About Me

At the core of my work is a simple belief: everyone deserves a space where they can put their guard down and just be themselves. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I show up for each client with warmth, patience, and a genuine curiosity about their story. Whether we’re naming a hard feeling for the first time or celebrating a small win, my goal is always the same — to help each person feel safe, understood, and a little more confident in who they are.
Outside of session, I recharge in the outdoors — there’s nothing like a good hike or a slow walk in nature to clear my head. I’m an animal lover through and through, I cherish time with the people closest to me, and you can usually find me at the movie theater or curled up with a psychological thriller or historical fiction novel. I think staying curious about people — real or fictional — is part of what makes me good at this work.
